LesterB: ok LesterB: once upon a time, there was a wizard who lived on top of a distant mountain LesterB: there were villages in nearby valleys. they knew of the wizard but almost no one still alive had ever seen him LesterB: sometimes, when they were in need, they would write their wishes in runes, on the leaves. then they would wait for a stormy day and release the leaves from the top of a hill. later, sometimes, the wishes would come true LesterB: many of the wishes were for answers to questions. the villagers would write their questions on the leaves, and later, the answers would come to them in a dream LstserB: the villagers assumed that the wizard was answering all their requests, but actually, he was only able to influence the weather LesterB: he had the ability to discover the answers to the questions, but no ability to influence dreams LesterB: in order to resolve these questions, the wizard would visit a vanr who could often be found in the summer on a far northern island LesterB: one midsummer, the wizard gathred up a scroll on which he had written all the answers which he wanted to convey to different villagers, and sailed dfor this island LesterB: when he arrived, he found no vanr. instead, he found wolf pawprints that were as big as a house LesterB: though it pained the wizard to do anything that might reveal that he wasn't the one influencing villagers' dreams, he knew something terrible had happened and he had to call for help LesterB: shortly after, a torrent of leaves carrying warnings about the wolf arrived to the villages of the mountain-valleys LesterB: but the wizard was never seen again. LesterB: the leaves warn that if the wolf returns, it may be his aim to destroy the future, and his reason for attacking the vanr was to prevent anyone from learning what was about to happen (since vanir can see the future) LesterB: the end. LesterB: ok, now it's your turn
